You get your estimate
Your sector and 5 candidate processes with their priority, from explainable rules.
What BiVelioOneBot reads and what it does not
It reads like a careful visitor and always identifies itself. All the details, and how to exclude a website, are on the BiVelioOneBot page.
What it reads
- robots.txt first (RFC 9309), under the name BiVelioOneBot or, if there is no group for it, the «User-agent: *» group. If it is not allowed, it reads nothing.
- Text and data mining reservations (the W3C TDMRep protocol): the tdm-reservation header or meta tag and the /.well-known/tdmrep.json file. If the website reserves mining, it does not analyse it.
- Up to 8 public pages of the same site, home page included, and its sitemap; 20 seconds at most.
- HTML only: it does not run JavaScript or download images, PDFs, stylesheets or scripts.
What it never does
- It does not submit forms, log in or enter private areas.
- It keeps no copies: what it reads lives in memory while the check runs and is then discarded.
- The report carries no text or data from your website: only the sector and the catalogue processes.
- It does not work around blocks: on a 403, 429 or 503 it stops, without retrying.
Questions
Is it an audit?
No. It is a rule-based estimate from what your website shows. What is not on the website does not mean you do not do it, or that you do it badly.
What do you keep?
Nothing from your website: no copies, no text, no snippets. Your email only reaches the team if you tick the communications box. To prevent abuse we count checks per IP and per website using a pseudonymised fingerprint (never the IP or the website in clear), deleted after 2 days.
Can I check another company’s website?
Only if it is a client who has given you their consent, which you declare when you submit. BiVelioOneBot identifies itself, follows robots.txt and text and data mining reservations, and anyone can exclude their website.
Will you send me marketing?
Only if you tick the communications box, which is optional and unticked: the check works the same without it. You can withdraw your permission at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to privacy@bivelio.com.
How do I block BiVelioOneBot?
With two lines in your robots.txt, or by reserving text and data mining with TDMRep. All the details are on the BiVelioOneBot page.
